Graphic design / visual communication

Graphic design that turns the message into clear visual communication.

We design creative for digital campaigns, social media, print, presentations, packaging and website assets—with brand consistency and specifications suited to the real medium.

  • Packaging
  • Brand applications

What does graphic design solve?

It does not simply decorate information. It gives it order, emphasis and character.

Graphic design organises message, image and identity within the constraints of a specific medium. A brochure, social post and banner can express the same idea, but they should not be mechanical copies of one another.

Graphic design applications

From the first key visual to the final production file.

Formats follow the channel, audience and actual use. We do not add deliverables simply to make a list appear longer.

01

Digital campaigns

Key visuals, display ads, social posts, stories, covers and variants that retain one idea across different placements.

02

Print & corporate material

Brochures, catalogues, stationery and presentations with clear hierarchy and production-ready specifications.

03

Packaging & labels

Visual applications for packaging or labels, respecting the dieline, mandatory information and the real shelf environment.

04

Website & eShop assets

Banners, category graphics, iconography, product storytelling and visual modules designed around the screen journey.

05

Presentations & infographics

Structure and visualisation for complex information, helping the audience understand the central message quickly.

06

Signage & event applications

Exhibition panels, roll-ups, menus, signage and large-format applications checked for legibility at the intended distance.

One idea / many formats

The same campaign needs a different composition on every surface.

We build one central logic and adapt it with real art direction. Headline, image and CTA are repositioned so they remain legible and effective in every ratio.

  • Hierarchy that works from 1:1 to 9:16
  • Safe areas for interfaces and placements
  • Purposeful crops that preserve essential information
  • Naming and export by channel

Design & production workflow

The work progresses through decisions, not endless arbitrary options.

We approve the direction before producing the full application family. Feedback stays controlled and the same problem is not repeated across dozens of files.

  1. 01

    Brief & content

We document the objective, audience, format, channel, technical specifications, available assets and final decision maker.

  2. 02

    Creative route

We define the central visual idea and one representative application before producing every dimension and variation.

  3. 03

    Design production

We develop the agreed layouts and review hierarchy, contrast, imagery and consistency with the existing identity.

  4. 04

    Preflight & delivery

We check dimensions, colour space, bleed, links, fonts and naming before delivering the final organised files.

Clear scope / clear handoff

Formats, revisions, rights and production are agreed before design begins.

A good engagement is not based on a vague promise to work “until everyone likes it”. It is based on defined deliverables, responsible feedback and transparent usage terms.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about graphic design services.

Before design starts, we clarify the objective, formats, content, specifications, feedback, production and usage rights.

What can a graphic design service include?

The scope may cover digital campaigns, social media graphics, banners, corporate print, presentations, catalogues, packaging, signage or visual assets for websites and eCommerce. The exact list of formats, dimensions and deliverables is agreed before production starts.

What is the difference between graphic design, logo design and corporate identity?

Logo design creates the core identifier. Corporate identity defines the broader visual system. Graphic design applies that system to a specific communication need, from a campaign or presentation to a brochure, label or packaging application.

Can you work with our existing corporate identity?

Yes. We review the available guidelines, logos, typefaces, colours and previous applications, identify any practical gaps and design within the existing system. If the identity cannot answer a required use case, we recommend only the extensions the project genuinely needs.

Do you design social media posts and advertising creative?

Yes, either as a focused campaign or a reusable template system. We agree on channels, placements, concepts and variants. Social media management, media buying and copywriting are separate services and are included only when explicitly listed in the proposal.

Do you design print and arrange production?

We prepare production-ready files to the supplier’s specifications and can coordinate proofs or vendors when agreed. Printing, materials, specialist finishes and shipping are not automatically included in the design fee.

Do you deliver editable source files?

Source files, export formats and usage rights are defined in the proposal. We deliver organised final files and, where agreed, editable working files. Typeface, stock-image and third-party asset licences remain subject to their respective licence terms.

How many revisions are included?

The proposal defines feedback rounds and what counts as a revision. A change to an approved route, a new format or new content may change the scope. Consolidated feedback from one responsible decision maker keeps the work efficient and coherent.

Can one creative concept be adapted to many dimensions?

Yes, but adaptation is not simple scaling. Every ratio requires a review of composition, hierarchy, crop and safe areas. For recurring production, we define a format architecture first and then build the individual variations.

Do you use photography, illustration or AI-generated material?

Depending on the creative direction, we may use a commissioned shoot, licensed stock, custom illustration or appropriate AI-assisted assets. Source, rights, restrictions and the required human review are clarified before the material is used.

Can you write the copy for the creative?

We can develop messaging, headlines and short-form copy or include a broader copywriting scope. For technical, medical or legal subject matter, final factual accuracy and approval remain with the client’s qualified specialist.

How long does a graphic design project take?

Timing depends on the number of formats, content readiness, approvals and the maturity of the existing identity. After the brief, we provide stages and realistic dates. Urgent production is assessed separately and never removes essential quality control.

Can we retain Firstidea for ongoing graphic design?

Yes, when there is a predictable volume and a clear prioritisation process. We define capacity, response times, the request channel, rollover rules and which types of work require a separate estimate.
