- Always a draft. The product is not published without a second, separate approval.
- Confidence score. For name, description, SKU, price and stock, so you know what to check.
- Duplicate check. It warns about a matching name or code and rejects an SKU that already exists.
- Existing categories. It only matches existing categories. Any it cannot find are skipped with a warning.
Bulk import with one approval. On Windows, it prepares up to 25 drafts together from one invoice or price list. If one fails, none are created.

You type your request, or dictate it in Greek on your phone. Answers come from your WooCommerce data.

A change starts as a plan. The store has not changed yet, and the card shows before, after and VAT.

Changes with approval

Control and security
The AI proposes. You approve.
Firstmate cannot approve a change by itself. The approval has to come from you.
Before the change
- Approval from you only. No change is applied without your explicit approval.
- One approval, one change. Each approval covers one specific change and does not apply to any other.
- Plans expire. A plan is valid for a limited time and cannot be applied after that.
- The full picture. The card shows what will change, with before, after and VAT.
During the change
- Check for changes in the meantime. If the product changed after the plan, the change is cancelled.
- Verified results. Success is reported only after the result is confirmed in the store.
- No retry when in doubt. If the outcome is unclear, the change is flagged for review and does not run again.
Access
- Changes off by default. After installation the plugin changes nothing until you explicitly enable them.
- Limited permissions. The connection can be limited to reading and proposing plans.
- Your store only. Firstmate only has access to store functions, not to the rest of your server or your files.
- Secure connection. No WordPress password, revocable access, secure connections only.
- Encrypted credentials. Connection details are stored encrypted on the device.
Data
- No customer data. The tools do not return customers, addresses, payments or individual orders, only aggregates.
- Action log. It keeps what was done and the result, with no user names or emails.
- Phone photo protection. Encrypted temporary storage, deleted automatically if unused.
- Signed plugin updates. WordPress installs a new version only if it carries the Firstidea signature.

Does it work in English?
Partly. Approval cards and error messages in the apps are in Greek. On Windows, Firstmate replies in the language of your message; on Android it always replies in Greek, and voice dictation is in Greek.
Can a change happen without my approval?
Not through the apps, because each change needs your explicit approval. Connection details must stay secure, like any access to your store.
Does it see my customers or orders?
No. The tools do not return customers, addresses, payments or individual orders. Sales reports are aggregated.
Where does my data go?
To produce answers, messages, images, catalogue results and aggregate sales are processed by the AI service we use. Firstmate’s tools do not return customer details, payments or individual orders.
Can I undo a change?
For stock, yes, for 15 minutes, if the quantity has not changed in the meantime. Prices, publishing and bulk changes cannot be undone, which is why the card shows before and after ahead of approval.
Can it raise prices in bulk by a percentage?
Not with one plan. A bulk change applies the same price or status to up to 50 products, while a percentage increase needs a separate plan for each product.
Where can I import products from?
From a photo, screenshot, link or text in both apps, from Excel, CSV or XML on Windows, and by voice on Android. Each time it creates a draft for review, with a confidence score per field.
Can I bulk import from Excel or XML?
Yes, on Windows. It prepares up to 25 drafts together from one invoice or price list and creates them with one approval. If one fails, none are created. Files can be up to 20 MB.
Can it import a product from a link?
Yes. Paste the link to the product page, and Firstmate prepares a draft for review. If a page will not open, send a screenshot of it.
Does the photo become the product image?
On Android yes, after the plan is approved. On Windows the image is only used to read the details, and you choose the main image from the media library.
How does it handle VAT?
Before every price change it shows net price, VAT, rate and the price the customer sees, as WooCommerce calculates them. On Windows, if you ask for a final price with VAT, it also calculates the stored price.
Does it work on OpenCart or Shopify?
For now, WooCommerce only.
