My relationship with technology began long before it became my profession. From an early age, computers fascinated me — not merely as machines, but as windows into a new world that was only beginning to take shape.

I lived through the early days of the Internet, when every connection felt like a small expedition. I still remember the unmistakable sound of the modem, pages slowly drawing themselves across the screen line by line, and that extraordinary sense that something entirely new might be waiting behind every link. The web was still unknown, imperfect and full of possibility — and that was exactly what thrilled me.

Before long, simply using it was no longer enough. I wanted to understand how it worked, build pages of my own and turn an idea into something that could appear on a screen and travel around the world. That is how my love of web design began: through curiosity, experimentation and the joy of creating.

Over time, that fascination naturally led me to eCommerce. I love the idea that a thoughtfully designed online store can become much more than a digital catalogue. It can bring a business idea to life, connect people with products and give a small business access to an audience that would once have been impossible to reach.

Even today, I approach every new project with something of that original excitement. I love discovering new technologies, solving problems, designing experiences and watching an idea take on form, function and genuine purpose.

That same curiosity now leads us into the age of Artificial Intelligence. At Firstidea, we want to stay at the forefront of technological change — not by chasing every new trend uncritically, but by experimenting early, learning quickly and turning new possibilities into solutions with genuine value.

Through the Firstidea AI Lab, we explore how AI can improve the day-to-day operation of a business, simplify processes and create new digital experiences. To me, technology has never been just a profession. It is an endlessly evolving space for creation — and it still fills me with the same curiosity and anticipation I felt in front of those first pages of the Internet.
